1970s Cork Lamp with Orange Ceramic Glaze
Rare example of a cork lamp with ceramic upper. Fat lava style glaze on this American lamp. Oversized cork base with bright ceramic upper. Glaze is vibrant orange with yellow, white and brown specks. Circa 1970s. Large enough to be a floor lamp, but also great as a table or desk lamp. Cork lamps were de rigueur in the 1970s den or home office! Good working order and in very good vintage condition. Felt base marked 2-67. Cork has an occasional hole; there is also a horizontal line across the cork, perhaps a joint line, as depicted.
35 inches high to top of harp. 14 inch in diameter or 46 inch circumference.
